just heard that there are actually people who tells other ppl not to be friends with me.. They'll say.. "Don't be friends with dawn_1o9.. she's really mean and terrible.. she practices witchcraft, and will cast spell on you!!" ok..ok.. my scenery was a little bit overboard.. rofl.. Like I really care about not having a lot of friends.. But it hurts to know that ppl are talking like that behind your back..

Yesterday, my friend Zin May from Forever Kumudra came to visit me at office.. Since the office time was almost over when she came, we decided to go to Inya Lake, and walk along the sideline of the lake.. (I hope I translated the Myanmar word "kan baung" right.. :) We ate Rakhine Moattee which wasn't very good cos it was too hot.. too many peppers in there.. After that, we just sat at one of those little benches, and just sat there, looking at the lake.. very peaceful.. :)

Yesterday, I bought Linkin Park's "Live In Texas" VCD, and The Corrs "Live in London" VCD.. haven't watch them fully yet.. so I'll comment about them later..

My boss said he sees me doing too much web browsing and not working.. Well, I think the important thing is to get the job done, but.. oh well.. I'm getting salary from here, so I'll just have to follow the rules, whether I like it or not.. So I'll be writing entries in here only during lunch break or after 5:00 PM (office hour).. I'll just have to manage between chatting, e-mail replying, and blogging.. sad.. :((

Well, I should have set my New Year Resolutions or something, but I doubt that I can keep it up.. But here's a few stuff that I thought of doing in the year 2004:

1. To Gain Weight (about 20 more pounds.. Funny, huh? While most girls want to loose weight.. I want to gain weight.. The reason is because I'm just too damn skinny.. so..

2. To start preparing for SATs.. Have no idea where or when I'm going to attend a university abroad, but I think I should prepare for it..

3. Read more "good" books

4. Focus on my work a lot more.. I'm not sure if I can keep that up.. sometimes, I gets too distracted by other problems, and just can't concerntrate on working.. oh.. well.. it's worth a try.. :)

I'll add to this list when I remember more..

So many things have happen to me this year.. And today, my problems have been resoluted.. My worries have been washed away.. I was worrying that I would continue to carry that burden all the way to the next year, but unexpectedly, it's been cleared out.. In the process, I even gained a brand new friend.. So life is good.. :)

Tomorrow, I'm going to Dagon University to enroll for the 3rd Year. After that, I'm going home, so I won't be in office..

Tomorrow, they're going to give out Academy Awards.. I wonder who's going to receive the awards: there's only like 6 actors, and 6 actresses or something in Myanmar. Not very excited about it.

Dun We Deserve Good Service??
I'm pissed off.. Don't we, the Myanmar people, deserve any good services at all?? Yesterday, Golly called me.. I could hardly make out what she's saying.. She said she's been trying to call since last weeks, but she couldn't get through.. Some years ago, my friend Hien sent me a video tape, along with a letter.. I got the letter, but the video tape is nowhere to be found. I don't even want to talk about ISP services.. they ban free e-mails just to promote their mail4u e-mails.. Just because they're afraid, they ban free e-mails, messenger services, Kazzaa.. and FTP access. Is everything in life about money, and not about giving good service to people? Gee..

Anyways, my sis Golly said she's going away to college, and might not be able to use internet there as much.. Bummer :(( We can still keep in touch with e-mails, but it won't be the same as chatting, cos it's kind of a "live" thing.. Major bummer :(( She's like my older sister, and she's been there to support me when I feel down, and listen to my constant whining.. I feel like crying... :((((.. I know.. I know.. I sound like she's gonna go live on Pluto or something.. hehe.. Well, good luck in college sis.. I love u lots.. :)

Over the weekends, I watched The Tube starring Kim Seok-hun (actor from Tomato Korean OST Drama), Bae Du-na (actress from Saving My Hubby a Korean movie) and Sang-min Park (I recognize him from one of GOD's MTV, but not sure if it's him). It was a good movie, but.. nah.. I won't spoil the ending. Here's the ending line from the movie:

A Day After Christmas
Yeah.. back to office again...

Yesterday, we stayed at Ko Min O's house a long time. Inganjawa picked me up at my house, and went there.. By the time we got to his house, it was 10:30 pm. Shwe Taung Noodles were really good.. it's the first time I ever ate them.. It kind of tasted like Ohn Nho Khauk Swe (rough translation is "Coconut Milk Noodles"). I stayed over there until 2:30 PM.. I borrowed some books from Ko Min O: Linkar Di Pa Chitthu by Chit Oo Nyo, Ghost Stories by Min Khite Soe San, and a book of Mya Nandar. I haven't read them yet, cos I borrowed too much books from the book rental shop the day before, and haven't even finish reading them yet.

Rumors??
I heard rumors that one of my friend is in jail because she's been using drugs. I haven't see her for a long time now, and whenever I ask her sisters where she is, they say that she's staying over at one of her friend's house and doesn't come back to home. She had been my friend since Kindnargarten, but we lost touch when I went to US.. She's a tomboy, and hangs out with guys a lot, and my mother doesn't like me to hang out with her because of that, but she's the only friend I have in the neighborhood, and she's really a good friend, so I always hanged out with her..

I hope the rumors are not true.

My brother is quite happy.. He just got a job as a computer animator.. He was running around the house saying "I have a job now.. Whoppee!".. LOL.. He's still a bit young to work, cos he's not 18 yet. But he feels that he's just wasting his time at home, and wanted to work. He already finished Dip Ca class from Forever, and wanted to get more experience in computer animation while he work.. He said I should be glad cos I won't have to give him allowance anymore.. and I said "Hallelujah".. I give him some pocket money out of my salary, but it's not much anyways..
